The Ford Transmission on my 4/4 has a fairly "healthy" leak at the lowest point of the bell housing (behind the sheet metal cover). I assume that its comming from either the front seal or the one bolt which runs through the bell housing and into the opening in the transmission. What is the best way to prevent the transmission oil from leaking through this bolt? I used a thread sealer which does not appear to be oil resistant. Thanks in advance. Regards, John |
