The angle drives are normally not repairable once they are broken. There
is a "freeze plug" type disc that seals the end of the angle drive opposite
where the speedo cable connects. This plug is secured in place by the "pot
metal" around it being peened over on top of the sealing disc. It may be
possible to "unpeen" the metal and then remove the disc to get at the
internal parts and to see exactly what has failed. Nissonger in upstate New
York may have new angle drives available. Dave Bean may also have a source.
