When I bought the new SS in `62 it would take three pumps to get brakes after exiting the S turn at Marlboro and heading into the hairpin. That was real fun! Took me quite a while to figure out it was the spindles flexing so much that the rotors pushed the pads back. Seems the boys at the factory had not yet discovered heat treatment, which cured it nicely. Don Havre de Grace MD |
