Yesterday, my amp meter indicated 30+ amps while reving up the engine during a tuneup. This problem lasted a few minutes and then seemed to go away. The regulator is nearly new but the car hasn't been run in about a month. It seems as if something in the regulator was sticking. Is there anything I can do to prevent this (drive the car more often?) and should I check/adjust the regulator output? Regards, John 59' 4/4 |
