Dick,
I am not really familiar with a 72, but the ignition switch on my 67 plus 4
looks very standard and just like the one on my 67 MGB. So if I were looking
for a replacement for my +4, I would check with Moss first. By the way if
anyone is looking to order anything from Moss, I order from a fellow in
Bangor Maine by the name of Dick Burger. His operation is called the British
Parts Connection. He is a Moss distributor, provides excellent service and
consistently beats the prices quoted in the Moss price list. I just give him
a phone call or send EMAIL and the parts are usually at my door within a
couple of days. Especially if they ship from the New Jersey warehouse. Dick
has also never hesitated in accepting a return, whether it was a defective
part or the part was not correct. I have attached his latest EMAIL
newsletter.
Regards,
Phil Roettjer

>We hope that all are enjoying/have enjoyed a restful Memorial Weekend. Our
family has been busy helping Cale, Lynda, Tom and Alice move to the coastal
Maine community of Machias. As many of you know this means that we will
working with reduced office staff once again as Cale managed to give us a
bit of time each day. The good news is that they have a wonderful new
opportunity! Cale will be able to help with the "online" portion of the BPC
when he gets settled in.
>
>To make things a bit more interesting Ginger and I are off to South Texas
on Wed and will be visiting our parents for about a week. During this time
we expect to be conducting business in as "seamless" manner as possible.
>
>1) We will be online daily and fully able to supply quotes and process
orders. (Using Moss numbers for quote/order requests will greatly help). We
will be emailing your final msg to Moss as an "order form".
>
>2) We will also generally be instructing Moss to "dropship" directly to you
for the next few days so that orders should arrive in a timely fashion. NJ,
CA and Canadian customers will be asked to be a bit patient for tax and/or
shipping concerns.
>
>3) If you wish an order placed it will be important that your msg clearly
list moss part numbers, quantities and a shipping address. Although we may
have these things here on file in the office, they may not be available
while we travel.
>
>4) "Between the lines" we hope that the above clearly indicates that
phone/fax messages will get sporadic attention at best as no one will be in
the office regularly to deal with them. Sorry, but again, we will be on
line and, with travel day exceptions, should be able take care of things in
a reasonably "normal" fashion.
>
>Thanks for allowing us to get this information out!
>
>We had a great trip to Carlisle...met many of you and met many new folks as
well. It is always enjoyable to put faces together with names! Good weather
this year which has not been the rule recently.
