A body shop may be in order...In order for the frame to "kink", the
metal has to
stretch-i.e. the same amount of metal now occupies a slightly longer space. A
quick
pull in the opposite direction- even assuming the frame is solidly secured
ahead of the "kink"- isn't going to relieve this stretch and might even crack
or wrinkle the me-
tal at that point. Heat, and steady pressure is the answer, with rapid
cooling...You
want to shrink the metal back to it's original form. You might get lucky on
your own,
you might not, and be left with a frame with a potential crack, or worse, one
that is
cracked. Its a judgement call...How lucky do you feel?
