The brake and clutch cylinder renewals proceed apace.
Thinking ahead, I'm wondering whether I ought to do something about a choke
workaround I installed many years ago:
>From the beginning, the automatic choke on my car never seemed to work very
well. I became exasperated with it finally and stripped it all off. In its
place I rigged a simple hand choke cable directly to the carbs - which
looked like they were made at one time for a hand choke anyway.
The system has worked perfectly, so I would prefer to keep it essentially
that way. What bothers me is the "erector set" look of my workaround. Is
there a more refined manual choke hookup that I can get somewhere? Or should
I try to repair/replace the automatic unit?
