Greetings all,
I am preparing to spiff up my '67 +4 tourer and when all of the structural
upholstry was removed, the door frames are really loose and wobbley. I can
tighten up the joints by using penetrating epoxy and then glue the joints
back with epoxy and probably get a good job. The inner layer of tin is
loose on the front of the frame, and it too problably could be glued. The
other thought is to totally rebuild and reskin the doors. Has anybody on
the list done this? Did you build or buy your frames? What other
suggestions do you have? Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
