All Dot brake fluids of the same number are completely compatible with one
another and for sure will not hurt your braking system.   At the  Engine
Room we use Castrol LMA Dot 4 fluid because of its fairly high boiling point
and its' "low moisture activity" which I assume means it has less of a
tendency to absorb water.  We recommend flushing systems with fresh fluid
every year.
