I've replaced the original lever shocks with the Rutter conversion kit which utilizes the original mounting holes. I elected to use Spax shocks rather than Koni's as I've heard the latter may be a bit stiff for street use. Since I never drove the car prior to this conversion I can't provide a comparison. The ride however is pretty good and and the axle has never crashed against the frame while driving....although the roads around here are fairly smooth. John 59 4/4 |
