Hello folks,
I have an insurance question...
Joyce and I are considering the purchase of a newer +8, say in the
1986 - 1993 range to replace our '62 4/4. We'd like to get one of the
late model +8's to enjoy the benefits of cuprinol and galvanizing.
The problem is that our insurance company, "American Collectors"
in NJ, only insures antique and "special interest" that are 15 years
old or older.
My present insurance rate for the 4/4 is a nice $209 per year for full
liability, comp and collision.
I shudder to think what Allstate would charge me for late model +8
listed on my regular auto policy in New Jersey.
(NJ has the highest rates in the country - or we did until recently
when NY edged us out for this dubious honor).
Anybody out there know of a reputable firm that insures Morgans
less 12 years old as "specialty cars" for a reasonable rate???
Thanks,
Joe DeLuca
