There is an Aquplane Superhead in with the boxes of spares that came along
with my Ford powered 1936 Morgan F2. It is most certainly made of aluminium,
has the name cast into the top and is finned. Stamped into the side are the
numbers
 595935/16/S.

Anyone have any information on this kind of head? Know what the numbers
stand for?

At a glance the head looked as if it might even be NOS. Closer examination
reveals it has probably been bead blasted and shows a little pitting from
corrosion just around the coolant ports. Peering into the spark plug holes
reveals missing threads in most of the openings. Can this be easily repaired
?

 Any thoughts appreciated.

Visited F376 yesterday in the storage unit. Seemed to be enjoying the rest,
but now asking to come home in anticipation of warmer weather. Funny,
initially was quite indifferent.

BTW,

TS71101L , a frame off restored 1960 TR3A needs to be sold off before I can
bring F376 home. It lacks only final panel fitting, paint and interior, all
else is done. Should anyone want the details of this car please let me know.
