It's been a while since I went looking around at what SOL has available.
Tonight I needed an email address of someone I know is doing some of the work
to maintain SOLs presence on the net. So I went back to the entry point:
http://www.team.net/sol/ and started looking for his finger prints. I
didn't find that but I found several other neat items. One such item that
I hope will be invaluable was a mailing list for newsletter editors. As I
am taking over publishing The Brickline magazine, I'm looking forward to
the help that most of us have enjoyed from the other mailing lists sponcered
by SOL. I've never undertaken such a project, so I have a lot to learn and
the past editor has done a fantastic job for many years.
Don't be afraid to look past you own localized interests. For instance,
The Morgan Web page has several great articles of a general nature to
help an owner maintain their LBC or non-LBC for that matter. I've found
some great info on the Triumph Tech pages, etc.
So if you haven't been for tour of SOL lately, take a few minutes (well
maybe 60 or so) and go poking around. I'm always amazed at what I find there.
To all the Webmasters, Pagemasters, and techies that have made SOL what it
is today, I THANK YOU and keep up the great work!
