Speedo Fix

LBC Experts,

Just got Moss's "Moss Motoring" and read article about speedo
"adjustments".  Seems that the theory is that with age, the magnet looses
some punch (don't we all?).  The fix was to get some "tiny rare earth
magnets" and add to old magnet.  

As the magnet spins around at a fairly high rate of speed when going FAST
(55 mph!) will the magnets fly off and mess up stuff within???

Anyone try this or have any ideas???
