Hi Dave-Greetings from NE Ohio where it is currently snowing (flurries) and
the roads are covered with salt. In my experience, Easter is about the time
when I start thinking about getting back on the road. I would urge you not
to head toward NYC area till mid to late April. One of the major means of
snow removal in the Midwest and Northeast is the liberal application of road
salt. The first event that I know of in this area is the first week in May.
If it were me any my car, I would try to make the trip in May, June and July.
Keep us posted!
