Turns out that quite a few 4 wheeler types are also Three-Wheeler types
(like me, Bert Varady, John H. Sheally II, and many others). My four
cylinder Ford engined Three-Wheeler just won its first trophy (the sponsor's
trophy at the Truth or Consequences, NM Veterans Day Car Show) after a
respray. John's Three-Wheeler, which he drove from the Atlantic to the
Pacific a few years ago, is powered by a water cooled V-twin Matchless while
Bert's machine which is nearing competition after a full restoration is an
air cooled Matchless.
There were many engines used to power Morgan Three-Wheelers including
Ford, Matchless, Blackburn, and the J.A.P.'s mentioned by John Blair. A
surprising number of these cars are still around and many are still racing.
