OK gang, here is another one for you to bounce around. Does anyone have any opinions as to the benefits or detriments of using synthetic oils in the Older Mogs (pre-67)? Since some of these engines seem to run hot, perhaps the synthetics may be of use. But then, Consumer Reports did a study that showed they were really not necessary since conventional oils did a pretty good job. But they did not use Mogs to test...
