My 4/4 had an overheating problem too.  I tried an electric fan that helped
but did not eliminate the problem.  I got my problem solved by having the
radiator re-cored with more modern core material and extended.  It's not
stock, but a few inches in length and the more efficient core material
helped.  Might also try an oil cooler.
