Maybe, from a technical standpoint, but I really doubt it *effectively*
lowers the octane. Unless you have a major crankcase pressurization problem,
like bad rings, you'd only be talking a few parts per million of oil --
you're probably gettng more than that through the valvestem seals.
I wouldn't consider that a factor whatsoever.
