Whatever you fit, if they are higher wattage than the originals you would be 
very well advised to fit relays and individual filament fuses (i.e. 4) at 
the same time.  This takes the load off the existing switches and connectors 
which can fail under higher loads at their age, as well as making the lamps 
much brighter in any event.
