In Cairo, Egypt there seemed to be no correlation between traffic and the
sounding of horns. One morning we were in a taxi at about 4am and there was
no traffic visible anywhere, but every now and again the driver still
sounded the horn. My daughter reckoned it must have a religious
significance.
