  My copy arrived last week too.   I was fascinated by it.  Never knew
that MG used four different electrical circuits used for tachometers
(page 149), or how to make a line-voltage stabiliser, which he calls
Voltage Regulator, from parts that he says cost less than a hamburger
(page 145).  
  It was to learn more about headlamp relays that I bought the book.  The
section on this seemed helpful as did the section on relays themselves. I
don't think he wrote anything that Paul Hunt has not already written for
us, but the illustrations were reassuring. 
   As one who has always been a bit intimidated by things electrical, one
who installed a master disconnect switch in my '72 GT the day I bought
the car, I was pleased to see on page 53 his recommendations for them and
their installation.  
  The chapter on "sneak currents" was not only informative but
entertaining.  Not only can they do entertaining, but can do some
dangerous stunts. Very sneaky.
