I have used the Crane electronic ignition conversion and transferred it from a 25D into a 45D. It will work in both distributors. As Paul H. stated, for any performance gain you need to get the advance curve set properly. Any new distributor that you purchase will work, but will not have the optimum advance curve for best performance. As I recall it is best to have the total advance curve at about 32 degrees @ 3000- 3500 rpm. John DiFede 73 MGB |
