You could do the same thing with cars that have the anti-runon valve, by
adding a relay.  They already have an oil pressure switch, that opens when
the pressure drops, disconnecting a ground from the spade terminal.  Could
still result in quite a few revolutions of the engine though, albeit not
under load, it all depends how many revolutions without oil are bad for an
engine.
