Thanks to all who answered. The apparently important fact I left out is that it's got a weber 45 on it. The problem was sediment in the idle/progression circuit on the front throat -- 2 cylinders were cutting out. I didn't say that replacing the head gasket was a smart first move; but it's what I did. Sigh. So, I cleaned the carb, replaced the filter, and put "slush tank" on the winter projects list. Oh, and felt a little embarassed. Matt |
