Upper trunion bushes where it joins to the damper arms are normally rubber
but poly ones are available. It's at the inner ends of the A-arms where
they connect to the pivot on the front crossmember that V8 bushings can be
used. Don't know whether they make that much difference in 'normal'
driving, I have one car with each and couldn't say. I've had poly bushes on
the rear and *did* notice a difference - it made the ride harsher over some
surfaces and I didn't like it, went back to rubber. One thing to be aware
of when fitting the V8 items is *not* to fully tighten the castellated nuts
on the pivots until the weight of the car is on its wheels. Failure to do
this can tear up the new bushes as they will be running in a permanently
twisted condition.
