For the 66, the radial option was 155/14 (a bit higher than 80 on aspect ratio
but close enough). Talon tire in Canada has good pricing on the Kumho in 165.

You can go 175/70 or 185/70 as well and the tirerack has many options there.
Do some shopping there to read reviews and compare tires even if you do not buy
from there. I like the 165 on my 67 as it is a very vintage look and it keeps
the steering light and gives me better gas mileage. My 73 GT is running 185/70'
cause I like the bigger tire look on that and it does make the car stickier (it
is a very common driver).
Quite a few people get the Sumitomo HTR 200. The Tire Rack has them for $39
each in 175/70 and 185/70

Hello list. I need new tires for my 66 MGB. I am going to keep the original
factory wire wheels. I have read of Kumho tires being a good inexpensive
replacement tire. Can anyone tell me the proper size or model Kumho to look
for. Thanks
