new owner boot lid question

Is there an easy fix for a slighty raised or misaligned boot lid on the prop
rod side? Apparently the lid was closed with the rod not properly stowed, a
guess a very common problem....Not sure where the fix lies, in the hinge,
etc.? It only is off by about a 1/4", not a real eyesore, but bugging me.
