If I was going to take Sammy out for Drive It Day she had to look
good(-ish), so I FINALLY finished T-Cutting and polishing her paint,
which I've been doing 1/2 a panel at a time in odd moments for ages.
Polished glass and chrome while I was at it, and took her for a little
pootle up the coast. The only other "historic vehicle" I passed was a
BSA Bantam motorbike phutting along, but I wasn't out for long.
Since she was looking so good, it seemed an opportune time to take some
photos for the Agreed Value insurance, try to convince Footman James
that she is really worth what I'm claiming she is ;)
Richard & Sammy ('73 Black Tulip BGT - and looking like Black Tulip
should again, not the matt, faded, birds**t-covered mess she was 11
months ago!)
