victory!! re:TD spin off filter adapter

Scott,
Hallelujah! found the long socket, drilled cross hole to align with one 
on TD adapter, put a 90 degree chuck key through both, applied 1/2" 
drive and viola! after some great pressure, it unscrewed.
One question, You don't use that large flat washer that was behind the 
adapter with the Moss spin off adapter, right? Looks like it would block 
the oil through those 6 round holes from entering or leaving the spinoff 
filter.
