FYI, I recently had an exchange with Kelvin from the US Moss regarding my  
nearly-new straps from Moss that both broke when I jacked the rear of the  car. 
 
He admitted that Moss had only recently discovered that the straps  were 
"junk" (his word) and had to re-spec a new order of straps to prevent that  
from 
happening.

limiting the travel of the axle, which is not good for them, the  lever-arms
at least.
