No, you start at the bridge, and then turn it down 12 flats (2 full
turns). It's the same for the HIF. It's just a screw instead of a
nut.
The problem with the HIF, is that if you turn the screw out too far, you
stand the chance that the bi-metal plate could decouple from the screw
and then you have to take it out of the car, remove the bottom, and hook
it all back up. Unlikely, but it can happen. But I wouldn't expect that
to happen to a fresh rebuild from Joe!
