Yellow is for OD, which is always present on the wiper stalk even when OD is
not installed. The switch connects unfused 12v (from white) to this when
the wiper stalk is pulled towards you.
By contrast the wiper switch uses fused 12v (from green/pink for 71 to 74
models, green otherwise) to the red/light-green for slow, and to the
blue/light-green for fast speeds. When the wipers are switched off the
switch connects brown/light-green to red/light-green for parking.
Green/pink has its own in-line fuse to power washers, wipers and heater fan
from both the accessory and ignition positions of the ignition switch,
whereas green comes from the main fusebox and is only powered when the
ignition is on. This inline fuse may be immediately below the fusebox and
may also have blown, be missing, etc.
Black/green is for the electric washers, the switch connects a ground (from
black) to this when the end of the stalk is pushed in. The motor should
have the same black/green and the aforementioned green/pink or green wires.
