I know enough to disconnect the linkage between the carbs, borrow my buddy's
gizmo that attaches to the throat of the carb and tells how much they suck
(air) but then I am lost. Can somebody provide really simple instructions?
I guess I should provide some symptoms. At idle the motor bucks shimmies
and shakes. At speed it runs just fine. My limited knowledge and a couple
of car buddies think the carbs are out of balance. Also, the RPMs are
running higher than normal at idle but at times will drop back to around 800
- 1000 RPMs.
Of course the old gal has been rode hard this summer we made several long
rides to our favorite car events in the region.
