Well I thought the whole sponsored mode stuff and another feature of
reporting back to Qualcomm was a bit much even with version 5. So I
reverted back to Pro version 4.2 where I still am. I was very much a
Eudora advocate with version 3 & 4 and was at one time a reseller since
I did Internet setups (Win 3.1 and 95 before PCs were Internet ready).
Unfortunately, I am also being assimilated to Outlook through work and
60-70% of my email now goes through the M$ product. I'd certainly like
to go with a newer Eudora Pro once they get it back to a more standard
non-advertising software. Just let me know if it ever gets to that point
and I'll gladly purchase a copy from them.

Subject: Eudora - off list
Eudora's latest Sponsored Mode version has a stupid new feature.
Instead
of saying that 'something ' is hiding the advert it makes you go to
their
Web site.......or revert to Light thus losing all your Sponsored Mode
facilities. So if you use another application while Eudora is active
you
get this problem. It actually happens when Eudora is not being used. SO
DO
NOT UPGRADE YOUR EUDORA
Has anyone got the downloaded version 6.2.1.2 that they can send me. I
want to get back to it !!
