pump

hi, all.

this is a pump i removed from a parts car.  obviously not oem, but it ticks
when i attach it to a battery.

i wasn't really paying attention when i removed it from the car, but i'm
thinking that the top is out and the bottom is in (as it sits in the
picture).  anyone know for sure?
