I'm still fighting my MGA master brake/clutch cylinder rebuild. I cleaned up the MC and honed out the cylinder bore to clean them up well. Then I put in a new rebuild kit. The problem is that when I push the pistons into the bores, they do not return. I need to use air pressure to get them back out to the unloaded position. BTW, this is on the bench, not on the car. What am I doing wrong? Any hints? Thanks Howard Battan '57 MGA '79 MGB |
