I managed to get the steering wheel off of my '79 B to replace the turn signal and wiper switches, and I'm about to put it back together. There was/is a squeek sometimes coming from what sounds like the upper end of the steering column when turning sharp. I've checked my manuals, but haven't found any recommended way to lubricate it. Can anybody tell me how I should lubricate it if it needs it? Thanks Howard Battan '57 A '79 B |
