Same here, right down to the greasy dirt, the only time I tried. I've never bothered since. If doing it to fill up with the correct amount of antifreeze drain what will come out by removing the bottom hose, reattach, pour in the correct amount of neat antifreeze for your cooling system capacity, then top-up with water.
