The anti-runon valve, charcoal canister, tank venting, and their associated
plumbing to the rocker cover, carb and inlet manifold have no negative
impact on performance, prevent running-on which is more prevalent with
modern fuels, and do save the environment from some pollution. The rest you
can remove if you can get away without it, and can easily cause problems if
not working properly (and sometimes when they are!).
