Don't know anything about Dan Masters. But I don't know that I'd go about a
complete rewiring without some good reason for it. Was this car running at
all before you started removing parts? Most problems with lights, switches,
etc, are merely local corrosion at connectors and are easily fixed with
emery cloth.
I also wouldn't think that "looks" were a reasonable criterium for buying a
whole new exhaust system, but what do I know? The kids with the Hondas
apparently think otherwise...
Personally, I'd make it drivable before investing in "improvements" -- you
might find you like it fine the way it is. For instance, I don't think the
sound of the stock Mark I exhaust system can be improved upon -- Mazda even
tuned the original Miata to imitate it (with only partial success, IMO --
it's hard for a small DOHC not to sound "buzzy").
