I finally had a chance to slide under my '77MG last night. I saw that there is a rubber boot on the side, apparently where the clutch actuator enters the transmission case, and that this boot is not attached or sealed to the transmission case. It appears basically intact, but it just moves back and forth with the actuator. Shouldnt the base of this boot be pushed into the transmission case to seal the hole? Scott Bonacker |
