When installing Zone Alarm, Adaware, AVG, etc. I always change the installation directory to some other name. Many virus and spam programs look for the executable (the starting program) of your anti's in the standard install directory to disable it. If you install the antivirus or anti-spyware to a non typical location and directory name, it makes maleware harder to disable your antivirus or anti-spyware. Regards, Blake |
