I while back I bought a Maserati Biturbo. Like a lot of cars the second
gear was hard to engage when the gearbox was cold and this just not because
it was new. I complained and the dealer changed the oil to ATF -
Apparently Porsche had the same problem and fixed it by using ATF. Problem
solved. After that I used it on my 1969 Maser Mistral and it worked a
treat. So, the question is, How about ATF in MG gearboxes. I have a
Rover SD1 5-speed in my MGB GT V8 and I have used ATF in that..........am
I in danger!!!!
