FWIW. I'd suggest asking if someone has a used complete door.
Fabricating that spring and getting it to work correctly is going to be
a bear.
Since the doors are hardly ever bad, I would think there have to be
spare ones lying around. If you don't have any luck within a reasonable
time, let me know and I will see where all the ones I have are stashed.
I was brought up to remove every usable part from a shell before cutting
it up for the crusher.
