Dave, et al.: Rubber shock cords are handy. About three for redundancy. Take a turn around the shaft and then hook to whatever. Remember to immobilize the shaft rear to front for spline-coupled units. Not to start this thread again, but I've been towing MGAs for short distances the last year or so with no ill effects. I think the last time we went through this, someone determined that T-series gearboxes were susceptible to damage from towing. David |
