Stuck door

This morning when I got to work, I couldn't get out of my '67 MGB's door. 
I've messed with the mechanism before for various reasons, and am guessing
that the button on the door handle got stuck against the part it pushes
against, but will have to check when I get home.  For now, I'm climbing
out the passenger side.  Anyone have other things they can guide me to.  I
can't open from the inside or outside at this point.
