NOS is a really viable way of getting short bursts of horsepower from a
well designed engine that has a wide rev band. Unfortunately the long
stroke, siamese port MGB motor doesn't really fit that description.
Mixture distribution is a real sore point for the B, and increasing the
explosive nature of a poorly distributed mixture is going to cause some
nasty loading of the bottom end. It would be interesting to see what
would happen, but I don't think the results would be very positive.
