Steve,
I was so frustrated trying to free my fulcrum pin on my '71 B that I ended up
taking off one the shock/damper arms and unbolting the whole shock from the car
with the fulcrum pin still attached. I soaked the pin/shock absorber arm in a
pail of Coca Cola for a day or two. (I also picked out as much of the decaying
bushing around the fulcrum pin to let the Coke do its magic.) Pin came right
out. A lot easier than banging the hell out of it. (I Was replacing my shocks
at the time with rebuilt ones from Apple Hydraulics.)
