Subject: | Question about the clutch master cylinder |

I'm spending this 4th of July working on my thoroughly British '68 MGB-GT. I got the clutch master cylinder apart in preparation for rebuilding because it was leaking fluid. The inner bore looks great. But, the bore outside of the seal closest to the pushrod is pitted. It looks like the pitting isn't in an area that does any sealing. So here's my question: Can I rebuild this master cylinder, or do I need to get a new one? Thanks, Dave Ambrose |
